Indonesia has a great potential, shown from the total oil reserves of 3.3 billion barrels, total gas reserves of 135.55 Trillion Standard Cubic Feet (TSCF), and total coal reserves of 39.89 billion tons. Not only that, Indonesia is also the largest producer of crude palm oil in the world with a production of 48 million tons per year (68% of world production). With the support of a 265 million population and abundant resource, Indonesia government is encouraging massive investments in petrochemical industry.
