Ecoat designs and produces bio-based binders (polymers) for the paint and coatings market, with three main applications: interior wall paints (architectural), wood protection and anti-corrosion solutions for metal.
Since 2021, Ecoat has offered a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) service (the SWITCHER offer) to support the ecological transition and reduce carbon footprint of the coatings industry.
Becoming a Mission-driven Company in July 2022, Ecoat is committed to supporting the paints & coatings industry in its ecological transformation through its innovative binders and the Switcher service offer, combining LCA and eco-design formulation.

Architectural: We offer several water-based, low-VOC, odorless resins for paints and varnishes. Their renewable bio-sourced content can reach 98%, for a cost/performance ratio close to that of the best acrylic binders.
Metal: INOKEM® UR resins are an excellent alternative to solvent-based systems, reducing VOCs and petrochemical raw materials. Their adhesion to metal, chemical resistance and mechanical performance make them the binders of choice for formulating anticorrosion primers, direct metal coatings and finishes.
Wood: Ecoat binders also warm up the natural tone of wood, in contrast to the dull effect observed with conventional acrylic binders. Thanks to a range of innovative technologies, we can offer you the right balance for your specific needs.
