The European Commission is inviting Europe-based “green” businesses to take part in the Circular Economy Mission to South Africa from May 2–5, 2017.

A Circular Economy Mission, led by the European Commission’s DG for the Environment, will travel to South Africa from May 2–5, 2017. The EC is inviting innovative Europe-based companies—especially SMBs—to take part in the trip.

 

The mission will include business meetings and partnership events with South African companies operating on the following markets:

  • Circular economy
  • Resource efficiency and sustainable use of natural resources
  • Eco-innovation
  • Chemicals
  • Water and waste management
  • Energy efficiency


The first two days of the mission will be devoted to meetings with key circular economy stakeholders in Johannesburg and Pretoria. The following days, participants will attend events organized as part of the World Economic Forum on Africa in Durban.
